The circulation of The Stage has risen for the third consecutive year, providing an about-turn since its steady decline which started in the mid eighties. Although you'll find more advertisements offering work to table top dancers than table top magicians the paper is still worth keeping an eye on. There is also a comprehensive listing of up-coming Showcases which can be worthwhile "just to be seen." 19.8.00
