The
first transmission of the new Derren Brown Mind Control series on
Channel 4 on Friday 28th February achieved an excellent television audience
of 2.5 million (as a comparison the programme that was in the same time
slot in the previous week achieved just 1.6 million). Needless to say
Channel 4 are delighted, on top of which it has just been announced that
the series has been short-listed in the Variety award category at this
year's Golden Rose of Montreux International Television Festival in
Montreux, Switzerland. Congratulations to Derren Brown and the entire
