Bizarre Bath, the original comedy walk hosted by Noel Britten and JJ (alternately), is now on again throughout the Summer. Magicians attending either Mark Leveridge's 9th British Close-up Magic Symposium on Sunday April 10th, or the Bristol Day of Magic on Sunday May 8th, may like to make a weekend of it by taking the walk on the Saturday evening. Now in its 14th year... "You'll laugh yourself silly when you join the celebrated stroll which takes an irreverent look at the city of Bath. You'll experience unforgettable mysteries, thrills, and surprises that stretch the traditional image of the city. So if you're looking for something hysterical rather than historical, why not join us? Bizarre Bath leaves the Huntsman Inn, North Parade Passage, every evening at 8pm. The entertainment lasts approximately 90 minutes (but don't worry - we're not walking for all that time!)" www.bizarrebath.co.uk. 26.3.05

Alakazam.co.uk are about to release a new effect from Luke Jermay entitled Room 101: "The performer places a blue-backed 'prediction' card into his pocket. A spectator fairly selects a card from a red deck and decides on any word to write across the face of the card. This card is placed face-up on the table. The performer removes his 'prediction' card and not only does the card match, so does the word, which is written in a different colour!" Visit: www.alakazam.co.uk. 26.3.05
