The Magical X Factor... The Blackpool Convention organisers continue to innovate with the introduction of "The Magical X Factor" - a new addition to The British Magical Stage Championships 2007, which will be held on Saturday 24th February. Judges will offer the acts constructive comments and compere Tony Stevens will then invite the individual performers to respond. The prize money has also been increased with the Grand Prix award now being £1,300. In addition to the trophy and cash any act reaching a predetermined number of points in any category will be sponsored to perform at FISM in China in 2009. Brain has been a magician for many years mostly as a children's entertainer, but he also performed close up and stage magic for adult audiences both in the UK and abroad.
