World Famous Magician, Henry Evans, will be touring the UK with his lecture 'Magic As A Composition' in October and November. "Henry is a world famous lecturer who has travelled the globe since being placed first in Close-up Card Magic at FISM in 2000. He has amazed both laymen and magicians with his devious mind, producing miracles with cards, silks and coins, all with his own particular twist. If you have already attended one of his previous lectures you'll know why he has achieved such success. If you have never seen him lecturing before, you are invited to peek into his original world of magic. From clever uses of gaffes, to effects with nothing other than a borrowed deck of cards, Henry’s approach to magic is something not to miss.

International News: Side Show on Broadway, with illusions by Paul Kieve, is inspired by the remarkable true story of the Hilton twins, Daisy and Violet, who were legends in their time and the highest paid performers on the vaudeville circuit. Side Show is their heartwarming search for first love and acceptance amidst the spectacle of fame and scrutiny under the spotlight. The original musical, beloved by legions of fans, premiered on Broadway in 1997, and was hailed as “Something to marvel at” (Ben Brantley, New York Times). It went on to earn four Tony Award® nominations including Best Musical, Best Original Score of a Musical and Best Book of a Musical. Director Bill Condon comments: “Side Show is, in many ways, the ultimate musical commentary on the entertainment industry. The backdrop of 1920’s and 30’s show business gives us the opportunity to play with realism and fantasy. The entire design team has done such a masterful job creating this world, and it is a thrilling process for all of us to bring this vision to Broadway.” Complete cast and additional information for Side Show will be announced shortly. Performances begin on Tuesday, October 28th at Broadway’s St. James Theatre. 23.8.14
