Stanley Kubrick’s majestic 2001: A Space Odyssey is enjoying a limited nationwide cinema release starting this week. Theatre, cinema and indeed all the arts should be allowed to crossover into magic thinking. Will 2001 help you with your double lift? Probably not. But if you want to inject a little theatre into your performances it may inspire you in some way. This is a rare opportunity to see this masterpiece, nearly 50 years on, on the big screen, in all its digitally remastered glory. To watch the trailer and find out if it's on near you Click Here. Still not tempted? The movie features numerous visual illusions, and even a 'no thread' floating pen sequence to ponder over, but really just see it for its sheer cinematic brilliance.
