The Magical Mysteries of Harry Price. Harry Price was a ghost hunter, psychic investigator, conjurer and a man of mystery. Uncover the truth with psychologist and magician Professor Richard Wiseman and the haunting music of The Creative Martyrs. The Magic of Discovery. Sunday 17th March in Cambridge. To celebrate its centenary the Cambridge Pentacle Magic Club has teamed up with the University of Cambridge Science Festival to present a magical journey through scientific discovery. It was Arthur C Clarke who said that any advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. In our show we hope to show you that magic is out there, as we break the known laws of science in a mind bending adventure through the amazing discoveries that have been made here at the University of Cambridge. There will be prizes to be won and fun to be had as the members of the club bamboozle you with routines inspired by our local university. The fun isn't just on stage; during the interval you'll be able to see close-up magic from members of the club, most of whom are also members of the world famous Magic Circle and interact with our green screen for some memorable photos. The Late Jack Grigg's Magical Estate Sale. Hypnotist Jonathan Royle, who regarded Jack as his friend and mentor of over 30 years, has been asked to dispose of Jack's collection of rare first edition and signed magic books, and some magic tricks also. Jack's daughter, Gina, and her family have stated that money raised from the sale will be being donated to The Rochdale Hospice where Jack spent his final days.
