Hoyo De Monterrey cigars, Fidel Castro, Che Guevara and…. Manuel Martinez, all hail from Cuba. The Cuban conjuring comedian appeared live on the Azura cruise ship on Sunday 12 June 2011 with his crazy antics blending surrealism with a light touch of magic. Manuel flew all the way from Havana to appear in the Manhattan Bar on board the luxury cruise liner. As the guests enjoyed their Mojitas and cigars Manuel not only entertained them in the most dazzling manner, but insulted them too!

Yes, whether you came from England, Scotland, Ireland or Wales, Mr Martinez had a go at you. I lost count of how many ladies in the audience he called “silly cows”, but just like Borat and Ali G, he got away with it. Cheeky chappy.

Magic in fact was minimal, and he only performed a handful of tricks, including the Bandana Routine, Drawn Rising Card On Pad, Card Prediction, D’Lites to name a few. It was the manic comedy between the tricks that the audience loved and Manuel had them rolling n the aisles (until the ushers came and took the dice away!)

This was comedy magic at its most bizarre.
