Blaine's back in Britain this week for a number of television and
radio appearances. On Tuesday he will be in the studio with Chris Moyles
on Radio 1 between 3pm and 6pm, and on Friday he is Jonathan Ross's

International Magic's Close-up Magician of the Year for 2001, heads the
line up at this year's Magic
Circle Christmas Show which runs from December 27th - 30th. Also on
the bill Roy Davenport, Brian Sefton, Guy Barrett, Rajan, and MC Terry
Seabrooke. There will be two performances per day at 2.30pm and 7pm.
Tickets are £17 for adults and £10 for children (6 to 12 years old - the

Joe
Labero brings some magic and illusion to London for two nights only when he
performs in Rhapsody in Rock at the Royal Albert Hall. Labero is Sweden's most famous magician and
has just completed an extensive tour. "The Rhapsody in Rock show has become a
worldwide success story, in which Robert Wells combines his classical piano
skills with rock music in a musical extravaganza. In addition to illusions and
magic, the 2002 Christmas Spectacular will also feature the Santa Symphony

Our
House, the new musical with a "Sliding Doors" style story line that
features the music of Madness has now opened at the Cambridge Theatre,
London and has received rave reviews. Many have focused on the magic and
quick change effects designed by Paul Kieve. The Daily Telegraph
declared them "A wonder to behold" and The Guardian, The Sunday Times
and Time Out all chose the show as their "Critic's Choice" for the
week. A segment will be included in this year's Royal Variety Performance

Harry
Potter and the Chamber of Secrets has just opened across the UK and
looks set to do as well as the first movie which took £618m at the box
office worldwide. BBC Online reported that the Odeon cinema chain had
sold around 350,000 advance tickets in the UK. Harry looks a little
sinister in this picture though - I hope he's not taking the same path
that a young Anakin took a long long time ago...
