Blackpool Magicians Club will shortly be releasing details of a Mini-Convention called Seaside Sorcery to be held at the Horseshoe Showbar, Pleasure Beach, Blackpool on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th November 2004 in memory of the late Geoffrey Thompson (former Managing Director of the Blackpool Pleasure Beach). Already booked: Salvano, Patrick Page, Duncan Trillo and Stephen Tucker. The British Magical Junior Championships for both Close-Up and Stage Magic will feature on Saturday and the British Magical Inter-Society Championships on Sunday. The Young Magicians' Club proudly present their annual one day junior convention on Sunday 24th October. The day will feature two great lectures, three top dealers, a close-up and stage competition and a gala show. Heats for the competitions take place on Saturday 18th September. Mark Fisken is once again staging The Palace of Magic at Falkland Palace, Fife. This year's event runs from 13th-15th August.
