Morgan & West Lecture - Cotswold Magical Society. Peter Kidd writes: On Wednesday 3rd May at 7.30pm, the Cotswold Magical Society is pleased to welcome Mr Morgan and Mr West to The Hucclecote Community Centre. Magicians, time-travellers and all-round spiffing chaps, Mr Rhys Morgan and Mr Robert West present a lecture in two parts. Coding in the Pub teaches quick, easy, practical and very fooling tricks for use out and about (and on stage if you so wish) utilising two people. Even though most performers don't have a performing partner, the lecture goes down extremely well, giving people ideas to take and do in the real world. The lecture also covers other mentalism tricks, both for two-person and solo performers. This is followed by a discussion about character. Morgan & West is a character act and always has been. Rhys and Rob talk extensively about how to create an authentic character which connects with an audience. This is somewhat different from the usual lecture fare and promises to be a very interesting topic for discussion. All welcome. £10 on the door to non-members.
