2001
at 50. I know I'm wandering a little off-topic here, but the
upcoming opportunity to see Kubrick's 2001, A Space Odyssey back on
the big screen nationwide in June couldn't slip by without mention.
Filmed in the UK and on location over 50 years ago, the visual effects
remain stunning. No CGI here, just cinematic brilliance. The best way to
approach 2001, A Space Odyssey is to simply bask in its
magnificence. DT.
