In 2008 I produced 'A Tribute to Siegfried & Roy at the London Palladium’. It
was an occasion that anyone present will never forget.
Siegfried & Roy sat in the Royal Box, Dame Shirley Bassey sat in the box above,
and the packed audience included numerous show business celebrities. On stage
was a 14 piece orchestra together with ten of the world’s greatest magic acts.
Video tributes were paid by Sir Anthony Hopkins, Cher and Steve Wynn.
After the show finale Siegfried & Roy walked out on stage and received a
ten-minute standing ovation from the sold-out audience of 2,500 Siegfried & Roy
fans gathered from around the world.
It was very emotional for the whole audience and in particular for Siegfried &
Roy. In Siegfried’s own words, it was ‘one of the highlights of my life’.

over Europe, including individual movie clips of each act, as well the full acts
of the Great Tomsoni & Co – the last time they ever worked with a live orchestra
- and Norm Nielsen, in his final ever stage performance.

not only of the show but also priceless interviews with Siegfried & Roy, Johnny
Thompson, Norm Nielsen and Jeff Hobson before and after the show, as well as
over 250 never before released photographs from the show rehearsals, the show

Tribute to Siegfried & Roy at the Landmark Hotel in London in the presence of
HRH Princess Michael.

letters from Siegfried & Roy and from Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber the owner of the
London Palladium, reviews, and other Siegfried & Roy Collectors items.

Order
of The Magi President Darren Lee achieves more than one million TikTok views.
When the pandemic meant he could no longer perform live shows in person, like a
lot of other magicians he turned to the magic of the internet, and began
offering his shows online via Zoom. Darren joined the latest social media craze
to spread a little magic, but never expected one of his first tricks to be
watched over one million times. Darren said: "I'm definitely not your normal
TikTok creator - I am much older and I don't sing or dance. But I joined the app
to share some magic tricks and to keep me busy when I'm not performing shows on
Zoom. I never imagined that a trick performed by me at home would reach over one
million people around the world!" During lockdown, The Order of The Magi members
have also turned to the internet and have been holding their twice monthly
meetings thanks to Zoom. Darren has received messages of congratulations from

Slo
Mo - Mark Leveridge Magic. The idea for this routine came after I read Derek
Dingle’s Silver Quick routine in Apocalypse Vol.1 No.9 (Sept. 1978) which was a
sort of coins across into a spectator’s hand. I played around with the Dingle
routine for a while but I felt I would not be able to use it commercially,
although I liked the idea of something happening with the coins in a spectator’s
hands. After much experimentation and change, Slo-Mo was put together and is the
