Kindred Spirits, September 25th, London. "Blithe Spirit meets Woman in Black via the weirdest mind-reading act ever presented before an unsuspecting audience!" is how new show 'Kindred Spirits' is described. Kindred Spirits is a theatrical two-person telepathy act which takes the golden era of Victorian Spiritualism as its inspiration. Following successful debuts in Baltimore, USA, in 2019 and 2020, the pandemic put the UK launch of the show on ice. Now it is set to return in the intimate surroundings of Calder's theatre in south east London on September 25th. Expect minds to be read, fortunes to be told, and spirits to be conjured - all in the name of entertainment, of course! Mark Leveridge Magic Select. Each month two new products are added to the Select range from the E-Club Pro files. Here are the new effects for September: 1. Printable. This is a card routine that comes straight from Mark's current working walkabout repertoire. A spectator selects any card from a deck of blank faced cards and it is left in view. Four double blank cards are shown and one by one they print themselves with an identical card face. When the original selection is turned over it is seen to now also be printed with the matching card. 2. The Purser. This is a well structured coin and two purse routine designed to be performed on a close up pad. Coins jump from one purse to the other and from pocket to purse in a baffling manner. Straightforward handling combined with careful routining make this a pleasure to perform. There are always a total of 10 effects in the Select range to choose from, and each download video costs just £7.00. For more information and to watch dems of all the effects go to www.markleveridge.co.uk/e-club-pro-select. 4.9.21

The Jameson Wallet Limited Edition Brown by Iain Bailey - Alakazam Magic: Finally a Card to Wallet for the modern performer. For decades magicians have been frying audiences with The Card to Wallet effect but in all that time the style of wallet used has pretty much stayed the same. In most cases they are big, bulky and just plain outdated. In fact the only people to even still use this style of wallet is usually a magician. That's about to change! Around 3 years ago Iain Bailey the creator of Measure For Measure sent us a prototype of a new style card to wallet. A wallet he had created by adapting his own Mont Blanc® wallet. The design was modern and the workings were simple and we loved it! We sent the new design to our manufacturer but it ended up getting misplaced for 2 years! It finally resurfaced and after a few prototype tweaks I'm happy to say it's now ready. www.alakazam.co.uk. 4.9.21
