Revolutionary
show music control system ‘Solo’ - now on Kickstarter. From Sam Fitton, the
developer: Solo is the world’s first-hands free music and show cue system, that
cues specific music tracks. There are no playlists in sight, buttons to push, or
car key fob style remotes. This is a brand-new system that uses you, your props,
and your environment as triggers to make the magic (music) happen.
Just imagine picking up a deck of cards and your music begins playing at exactly
the right moment. Or imagine a spectator placing down on the table a freely
chosen photo of a celebrity, only for the theme tune of their film to start
playing, moments later. Maybe, simply picking up a dusty old book cues your
chilling background music! You can do all this with Solo. Solo only plays the
music for routines that you're actively performing – meaning no more track
skipping, guesswork or stress. You just perform your routine and Solo takes care
of the rest! Mix things up, try out new routines and be totally prepared,
without the hassle of editing playlists.
If you saw us at the Blackpool Magic Convention,
then you’ll know just how amazing Solo is – and we’ve made some huge
improvements since! We’re now live on Kickstarter so you can check out our tech
specs, bag great savings and even get delivery before Christmas! See
www.kickstarter.com/projects/samfitton. There are only 100 units available,
so head to Kickstarter to grab a great deal.

Quirky
Forces – A New Book From Chris Wardle. Having completely sold out in under
24 hours on its original release in August, 'Quirky Forces' is now available
again, from all major dealers. Quirky Forces contains fifty simple, devious
forces, over eight chapters, covering forces with words, images, cards, numbers,
magic squares and grids, forcing gimmicks, book tests and colours, together with
complete routines for the working magician.
• Fifty sneaky, ingenious, offbeat forcing methods from award-winning originator
Chris Wardle.
• Hardback, with over 200 pages and 40 graphics (photographs/images/tables).
• With a foreword by Ian Rowland.
"His magical inventions are always practical, satisfyingly ingenious and slyly
deceptive." Ian Rowland.
"Chris is a treasure trove of inventive, commercial ideas, and this book is no
different. I can always tell a good magic book by the amount of page corners I
have folded down, and I can hand on heart say I turned more corners of Quirky
Forces down than any other book." Preston ‘Spooky’ Nyman, editor Mazel
Magazine.
"If you want to cleanly force anything at all, in any category whatsoever, Chris
has you covered. Highest recommendation from me; I consider this book a
must-buy." Mark Elsdon.
"Not only is this book packed full of useable effects, routines and principles,
it is so clearly written that it feels like Chris himself is sat in the corner
of your room." Adam Hudson.

MLM
New Releases. Mark Leveridge is pleased to announce that two new effects
have been added to the E-Club Pro Select range. Here are the details. 1.
ESPeriment. One single prediction card is placed face down in view to one
side. Five different ESP symbol cards are openly displayed and then shuffled. A
spectator is invited to freely nominate the first, second, third, fourth or
fifth card in the pile. His choice is dropped out onto the table and the faces
of the other cards displayed. When the selection is compared to the prediction
card, they match! No force, this is direct and straightforward to perform and is
very quick to re-set. 2. Colour Changing Sponge Ball. A red sponge ball
is displayed openly, both the performer’s hands being clearly seen to be
otherwise empty. Curling his left hand into a loose fist, the magician pushes
the red sponge ball inside and then blows on the hand. Immediately the fist is
opened to reveal the ball has changed to yellow and both hands are once again
genuinely empty. This simple effect includes a principle which you will be able
to use in many other effects. No gimmicks required. The above downloads cost
just £7.00 each and are available from
www.markleveridge.co.uk.

Lewis MBE. Henry Lewis MBE, MIMC, IBM, SAM, Hon Vice President of The Magic
