Opportunity for Young Magicians! Would you like to get some expert mentoring to work on an act that will be part of the Edinburgh Magic Festival this Christmas? Future Magicians is the new Edinburgh International Magic Festival guided mentorship programme, to help young magicians who want to move their magic to the next level. It's free for young magicians to take part and you'll work with professionals to create an act ready for a live theatre performance in 2 months time!

Andi Gladwin lectures for The Surrey Society of Magicians on Thursday 3rd November. Adam Mosley writes: As a successful performer in his own right, Andi Gladwin has given talks and lectures to magicians at the largest magic conferences in the world. Part show, part lecture, Andi performs and teaches some of the tricks and techniques that he has become best-known for, including Silent Movie, Master Pushoff, and his famous Magic Squared routine. He also shares tricks from The Boy Who Cried Magic.

Over the past few years, he has appeared at Vanishing Inc.'s conferences The Session, Magifest, and The Retreat, along with dozens of conferences such as Magic Live, Blackpool Magic Festival, South Tyneside Magic Festival, Engina Magic Convention in Mexico, Lund Magic Convention, FISM and hundreds more. Andi has also toured magic clubs in the UK, USA, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Canada.
