Just days away... The
Session, Heathrow, London, 13th-15th January.
From the organisers: This year: Richard Turner, Markobi, Peter Turner, Mortenn Christiansen, Brian Watson, Arthur
Benjamin, Gustav Kuhn, Matt Baker, Mark James, Luke Jermay, Darren Delaney,
Alice Pailhes and Alex Romanoff. Started fifteen years ago, in Gloucestershire,
by a bunch of friends simply trying to make the sort of convention they wanted
to go to: a convention that wasn’t too big, that actively encouraged sessioning,
and a convention where the performers actually wanted to, and did, hang with the
attendees.
We sell out every single year. With previous guests like Juan Tamariz, Derren
Brown, David Blaine, Luke Jermay, Christian Grace, Caroline Ravn and Roberto
Giobbi it’s easy to see why. Secure your seat at the table. Book your ticket to
The Session now. 13th-15th January, Radisson Hotel & Conference Centre,
Heathrow, London:

Dave
Allen aka Magic Dave wins the Watford Association of Magicians Family
and Children’s Entertainer of the Year Competition 2022. Dave made a
decision a while back that he would like to see if he could win all
three categories, Close-up, Stage and Kids Magic, that members of the
Watford Association of Magicians compete for in their competitions, one
more time. He'd previously won all three titles over 15 years ago, when
he was a whippersnapper, and on the 28th December he is pleased to say
he did it again... after winning the other competitions early on in the
year and in 2021! "That’s it for comps at WAM until at least another 15
years" said Dave! Well done to all the competitors: Dov Citron in 2nd
Place, Julie Capenter in 3rd Place and Keith Hubert and John Ducket.

the mix. Best of all it's free for all magicians (members and
non-members!). Tuesday 10th January.
Doors open at 7.30pm.
Venue: Clock House Methodist Church Hall, Clock House Road, Beckenham
