Free Two Day Workshop for Young Magicians at The Magic Circle Headquarters in London on July 24th & 25th

Are you a young magician who wants to:

• Spend time with a group of experienced magicians developing your magic?
• Learn how you can most effectively develop your sleight of hand ability?
• Discover how performance skills can make every trick you do better?
• Think about how magic can become your career?

In this masterclass at The Magic Circle you, and up to nineteen other young magicians, will have the opportunity to learn some of the real secrets that will help you to take your magic to the next level. Over the course of two magic-packed days you will work with Richard McDougall, Noel Britten, Augusto Corrieri (aka Vincent Gambini, photo), and Will Houstoun to explore four different aspects of your magic: Technique, Presentation, Stagecraft, and Business. In addition, you will also have the chance to bring along a piece of magic that you are working on in order to get feedback.

There is no charge for attendees but, as places are limited, you must apply to attend. Applicants need to be between 14 and 18 years old, and should send us an e-mail (with either text or a short video) telling us a little about you and your magic, as well as what you would hope to get out of the workshop. E-mails should be sent to latham@themagiccircle.co.uk by June 30th, and we will let you know whether you have a place by July 7th

This workshop is funded by the generous support of the Chris Latham Award from the Worshipful Company of Makers of Playing Cards. July 24th & 25th from 11am-4pm.
