proud to present Hooper & Piatt’s "The Original HP Creativity Lecture"
on Monday 24th July at 7.30pm at MagicBox. Alan Hooper and James Piatt
have a habit of developing routines that are outside the box. The

Tonight they will share the thought processes behind developing and
creating new ideas. They will break down the journey of development,
share trigger points and explain some of the secrets of their routines.
The second half of the lecture is workshop based, and together with some
pointers, will develop a new routine to share. NMC Members are free and
guest fees apply. Monday, 24th July at 7.30pm at
MagicBox.

Review
of Chris Wardle's Lecture for The Surrey Society of Magicians on
Thursday 13th July. Adam Mosley writes: Chris is an award-winning
Member of The Inner Magic Circle who has devised numerous effects
seen in magazines and books, and used by noted performers, over the last
25 years. His lecture offered a varied selection of tricks which were
all virtually self-working but high on impact. He performed effects with
coins, pens, ESP symbols, menus, banknotes and playing cards. Some items
were from his best-selling book 'Quirky Forces'. All were fully
explained and easy to perform. It was a brilliant lecture with many
excellent effects from a creative genius. Thank you Chris!

Mental
Die by Tony Anverdi. "You hand out a single die (choice of white die
with black dots or black die with white dots). Even though your back is
turned, you know with 100% confidence which number has been chosen on
the die. This classic effect has been 100% upgraded with today's modern
technology and materials. However, the possibilities are endless. Way
beyond the typical "I know your number" routines. And we included some
creative routines to get you started." Order via
