Derek
Lever. It's with deepest sadness that Derek Lever passed away on Sunday
night. He had battled with Dementia with Lewy Bodies (which means he could see
people and things that were not real) for over three years. He passed away in
hospital. The funeral will take place on Thursday 15th of February at 2pm at
Carlton Crematorium, Stocks Road, Blackpool FY6 7DS. If you wish to attend
please email to give me an idea of numbers for refreshments and get together

Born and raised in Austria, Amélie van Tass and Thommy Ten now split their time between their home country and Las Vegas. In 2011, they met and developed their signature "second sight" act, which they brought to the stage just two months later. Within a year, they had developed a full-length show that took Europe by storm.
Their success led to a long-term contract for the show The Illusionarium in the
States in 2014, followed by a featured spot in The Illusionists, the largest
touring magic show in the world. In 2016, they took their talent to the world
stage as contestants on America's Got Talent Season 11, where they amazed
audiences with their incredible performances, earning the runner-up spot in the
competition. They also appeared twice on America's Got Talent: The Champions,
and just recently on AGT: Fantasy League 2024.
Their incredible talent has earned them numerous accolades, including being
named "World Champions of Mentalism" in 2015, a prize that hadn't been awarded
in 30 years. They were named "Stage Magicians of the Year" by the Academy of
Magical Arts and The Magic Castle Hollywood for their extraordinary art, and in
2020, they were awarded the prestigious "Mandrakes d'Or" in Paris, France.
Despite their busy schedules, their personal connection has only grown stronger
over the years. They got engaged in 2019 and tied the knot at the Little White

Evening with Harry Robson and Matthew Wright - The Order of The Magi, Manchester.
Mike Sharples writes: The Order of The Magi (Manchester’s Magicians’ Society) is
pleased to announce that on Monday 5th February we will be hosting an evening
with Harry Robson and Matthew Wright. If you have seen either of these gentleman
before you'll know what a fantastic lecture they provide, but to have them both
on the same night is going to be an evening not to be missed.
The lecture will be at our headquarters, The Irish World Heritage Centre, Irish
Town Way, off Queens Road, Cheetham Hill. The venue is 5 minute walk from the
Queens Road metro link station. We also have plenty of onsite free parking. The
meeting starts at 7.45pm. Members are of course free and visitors are welcome by
