continuing their run of "Kids Show Live" at their London Headquarters -
the home of 10,000 secrets - with the current Magic Circle Children's
Entertainer of the Year, Andy Clockwise, on Sunday 2nd June. Andy will

magician, lecturer and joint producer of the Florida Magic History &

International magic star Kevin Quantum embarks on his first ever UK theatre tour
with 'Momentum', a show that rocks the audience with epic stunts and belly
laughs.
The new show is a chance to see spectacular new tricks, and to witness in person
some of the breathtaking magic he has performed on international television.
The show includes an astonishing and death-defying grand finale – a blindfolded
stunt featuring a gigantic Newton’s cradle and nine flaming cannon balls. This
breathtaking trick took him to the final stages of Britain’s Got Talent, where
David Walliams described him as "a mixture of magic, science and derring-do,
you're like a sexy Doctor Who!".
Trained by the great Penn & Teller, the illusionist and inventor began his
career as a physicist before moving into magic – an art where he has thrived for
15 years. Yet science is always a key ingredient of his shows and Momentum
explores themes from Bermuda Triangle to Gravity.

The Magic Circle History Day is taking place at The Magic Circle Head
Quarters, 12 Stephenson Way, Euston, London NW1 2HD on Saturday, 8th
June 2024. This event is dedicated to the study of the rich history of
Conjuring, its tricks and its performers, and to historical magic

Mike Sharples writes: The Order of The Magi (Manchester’s Magicians’
Society) is proud to present The Michael Diamond Spiritualism Lecture on
Tuesday 11th June. This night is guaranteed to be a night that is very
different from most magical lectures, split into two parts:
Part 1 is a PowerPoint presentation focusing on Houdini and how he
exposed mediums Eva C and Margery, with never before revealed
techniques of how mediums materialised spirits.
Part 2 is an examination of some antique and unusual equipment used by magicians and mediums.
The lecture will be held at The Irish World Heritage Centre, Irish Town Way, off Queens Road, Cheetham Hill, Manchester. The lecture starts at 7.30pm. In March 2021 John successfully fooled magic legends Penn & Teller on
their television program "Penn and Teller - Fool Us" winning not only
the trophy, but also the opportunity to perform his magic in their show
at the Rio Casino in Las Vegas. John also won the "Close-Up Magician of the
Year" in 2021 at the Medway Magic Society's annual competition and is a
past winner of both "The Best Entertainment in Lincolnshire" and "The
Best Entertainment in Yorkshire" awards at the Wedding Industry Awards -
as voted by the public.
