Wardle Lectures at The Pentacle Club, Cambridge on Tuesday 9th July. Hugh
Newsam writes: Chris Wardle makes a welcome return to The Pentacle Club
to present his new lecture. This is a collection of brand-new material
covering close-up, stand-up, children’s magic and mentalism, with the
emphasis on cunning, streamlined methods. Anyone who has seen Chris
before will know they are in for an evening of practical material that
they will use. His ideas have appeared in books, magazines and have been
used on TV, radio and on the stage. He has a regular column in The Magic
Circle’s monthly magazine and is an award-winning Member of the Inner
Magic Circle with Gold Star.
The Pentacle Club meets at St Andrew's Church Centre, Cherry Hinton, Cambridge CB1 9LR (Map) and the lecture starts at 8pm. Visiting magicians are welcome. At last Monday night's meeting of The Ulster Society of Magicians the
second performer was released for MagiCon 2025 which will take place
from 2-4 May 2025 in The Malone, Belfast.
We are delighted to welcome Tom Stone with a brand new lecture to that
previously given in Ireland as well as close-up and Gala Show
performances. He joins previously announced Griffin & Jones and many
more still to be revealed.
If there is sufficient interest Tom will also be doing an extra fee
masterclass on the Monday after the convention.
Accommodation can now be booked for a rate of £125 per night B&B by

the Magic Convention. Payment will be taken on arrival.
