O' Geer: A Celebration of Ventriloquism. Las Vegas headliner, and winner of
America's Got Talent, Paul Zerdin, will be appearing alongside AGT finalist and

James Lecture - South Downs Magicians, 5th February. Des King writes: Mark
is one of the magic world's most experienced lecturers having released two
Penguin Live's, four Alakazam Academies, multiple DVD and download projects, as
well as participating in Vanishing Inc's Connected Live convention. He's also
travelled the world sharing magic at conventions and magic clubs, including
consecutive years at The Session, MagiFest, multiple IBM's and the world's
largest magic convention in Blackpool.
Now is your chance to see this fascinating and
informative stage magic lecture, featuring all of the great magic that has taken
Mark around the planet to performances at the world famous Magic Castle, House
of Cards Nashville and the Chicago Magic Lounge, alongside over a decade of 200
shows per year touring the UK and the world's finest cruise ships. The lecture

James Lecture - Modern Mystic League (new venue), 9th February. Brian
Lead writes: Mark James will the first Star Lecturer of 2025 at the Modern
Mystic League (Blackburn) on Sunday, 9th February at 2pm. Mark promises to take
the wraps off what it takes to be a top flight entertainer, in a lecture titled
'The Anatomy of a Magician'. He'll be explaining why the classics of magic are
just that, covering among other things his personal take on the Cups and Balls,
Silk to Egg, 8 Cards to Pocket, Vanishing Elephant, Billiard Balls, Blindfold
Book Test and Multiplying Bottles.
Mark has worked professionally for two decades, and in 40 countries. He blends
expert sleight-of-hand magic with comedy, juggling and vaudevillian skills,
appearing at The Magic Castle in Hollywood and on board the Orient Express. Mark
has also provided audience warm-up for TV shows, so he has a fund of stories to
tell as well as passing on invaluable magical advice and routines.
Please Note: This event will not take place in our usual venue, but at Kingsway
Court, Greenhurst Place, Blackburn BB2 1NA. Visiting magicians welcomed; we just
ask for a donation, and refreshments will be included. It's going to be a
fantastic opening to the MML year, and we hope all our magician friends will be
able to join us for what will undoubtedly be a memorable afternoon.
