Chris
Congreave, Wolverhampton Circle of Magicians Close-up Champion. WCM
write: Wednesday night was the Close-up Competition at Wolverhampton
Circle of Magicians, happy to say the winner of the Tom Laws trophy for
Close Up Magic was Chris Congreave. It was a great night of close-up
magic with magic ranging from cards to coins to balloons and even a
goldfish.
The winner was Chris and here are some of
his words after taking home the Tom Laws plate: "It will be nice to have
my name on this trophy. I was looking at it last night when I got back
and it's full of history, from Tony Shelley winning in the 1960s and
friends on there too, like Steve Evans, Colin Massey, Dave Jones, Paul
Hancock, Ron Popple, Dave Oakley and Steve Dela (probably others too,
sorry if I missed you)". Well done Chris and fellow competitors from The
Wolverhampton Circle of Magicians.
