Korean magician Eden Choi brings international flair to the Edinburgh Fringe. BGT 2025 semi-finalist Eden Choi will present his solo magic show Proust Effect at the Ed Fringe this summer.

Eden Choi, the Korean magician who captivated UK audiences as a semi-finalist on Britain's Got Talent 2025, brings his first-ever solo show Proust Effect to this year's Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Inspired by the imagery and atmosphere of different countries including Korea, the UK, the USA, China and France, Proust Effect blends striking visual magic with a spirit of exploration. Each segment offers a distinct flavor, as if the audience were traveling the world, one illusion at a time.

Eden Choi said, "I wanted people to experience pure wonder, and for the magic to speak for itself." During his appearance on Britain's Got Talent Eden Choi received high praise from the judges with Amanda Holden calling it "one of the most perfect auditions". Proust Effect runs from 1st to 25th August, with two daily performances at WU Asia Pacific, 5 Queen Street, Edinburgh EH2 1JE. Tickets: www.edfringe.com.

The next FISM World Championship of Magic will be held in Busan, South Korea, in 2028. Busan, pronounced 'Pusan', is Korea's second largest city, known as the summer capital, and in 2020 announced the "Busan Metropolitan City MICE Industry Medium and Long-term Promotion Plan". MICE stands for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions, so you can expect the very best facilities for a world class convention. FISM was previously held in Busan in 2018. And if all that magic gets a little too much, you can always head to the beach for a swim. DT. 19.7.25
