and Mauritius. In 1991 he was given the “Special Award of the Jury” at the FISM

routine of the Indian Cups & Balls for the television special “The Magic Comedy

Steve Faulkner Lecture - Northamptonshire Magicians Club, 7th October.

the fantastic Steve Faulkner. He began his career on the streets of London’s
Covent Garden, one of the toughest places to earn an audience, where performers

Magic Championship and won second place in the prestigious Magic Circle Close-up
Magician of the Year. He has performed backstage for global acts like the Arctic

Barnes Lecture - The Ulster Society of Magicians, Belfast, 6th October. The
Ulster Society of Magicians are hosting a lecture by Lloyd Barnes - the man who
doesn’t lecture- on Monday 6th October. Lloyd Barnes is a magician and creator
who has made a big impact on modern close-up magic. As part of the Murphy’s
Magic creative team, he has released some of the most talked-about tricks of
recent years; Lux, Cognito, Maxim and Acme Hole have all become go-to routines
for working magicians around the world.
What makes Lloyd stand out is how he mixes bold, visual ideas with practical
methods. His tricks are clever but also built to be performed. That is why so
many magicians use and trust them in their own work. On top of his releases,
Lloyd has built a large following online through YouTube and other platforms.
His creativity, clear teaching and real-world experience have made him one of
the most respected and influential voices in magic today. The lecture is open to

Archer Live - Hollywood Comedy Club, Birmingham, 14th November. For our
November show, we have a real treat for you. Generally regarded as the UK's best
comedy magician, we have finally managed to book John Archer! John has been The
Magic Circle's 'Stage Magician of the Year' and 'British Magical Champion of
Comedy', and was awarded 'The Carlton Comedy Award' for outstanding use of
comedy and magic. He was the first magician to fool Penn & Teller on their ITV
show Fool Us. In 2019 he was a semi-finalist on Britain’s Got Talent and in 2022
John was awarded the 'David Berglas Award' for his 'Outstanding contribution to
Magic' by the British Magical Society.
