Harry
De Cruz's Desert Island Tricks.
"The motorbike appears four feet from the front row. A lady floats just
beyond the lip of the stage. That proximity rewires what audiences believe about
illusion, and it’s exactly where Harry De Cruz loves to live: smiling, present,
and letting pure astonishment carry the room..."

Ascension The Ultimate Rising Card Miracle. Jonathan Royle writes:
After
seeing
Ian Hurst perform "Ascension" at his excellent lecture that took place on 25th
November
at The Order of the Magi in Manchester I was so impressed by the effect
and method (which is fully self-contained, and enables the deck to be used normally for other
routines) see
YouTube,
that I'd like to spread the word to help Ian find a magic manufacturer
who'd like to help him bring this effect to market.

Bargain Hunt.
Danny Sebastian presents an episode focused on vintage board games. He
visits a toy and model museum in Brighton and recalls the teams who
gambled on such table-top treasures at auction. In Surrey, a magician
and his son held faith on a 100-year-old olive wood card game counter,
while in north Wales a duo hoped to put their opponents in check with a
chess set carved from a tree trunk. Danny also learns about the ancient
origins of snakes and ladders and plays a boisterous game of skill
designed by injured First World War soldiers. Friday 5th December on BBC
One. See TV Magic for details.
