in Mark Leveridge’s Legacy Collection. 1. Ultimate Jumbo Stretch.
Terrific, entertaining stand up effect in which a jumbo court card,
placed between two indifferent cards, magically stretches to twice its
length, and then shrinks back to its normal size. The spectators suspect
an extra court card is used, but they are in for a surprise at the end!
2. Melt Through. A coin is dropped into an examinable brass box
which has a hole drilled in the base and lid. Magically the coin escapes
from the box, then appears back inside again! Finally, an examined
ribbon is threaded into the lid of the box with the coin still inside
and penetrates the coin and reappears through the hole in the box base.
Everything can be examined again.
3. The Complete Magic Party Book. This is the 189 page, A4 size,
channel bound, printed version of Mark’s seminal work on doing games and
magic at children’s parties. Huge amounts of professional advice

Entering
The Reading Junior Day and more, from 1993, captured by the BBC!
Matthew Stokes writes: I was having a dig through the (huge!) BBC
Archive and came across mostly local news clips. But it got me thinking
about a very early appearance of mine back in 1993—and, lo and behold,
the clip is there! It’s from Reading Junior Day, featuring some familiar
faces like Keith Churcher, Donald Bevan, and Mark Leveridge… and me,
practising and performing my competition entry! (and yes, I did go on to
work on a cruise ship!). That year’s competition was notable for having
entries from Stephen Mulhern, Dominic Wood, Illusion builder Tim
Clothier and in-demand Vegas resident Keelan Leyser – not a bad line
up!!
