at the 35th Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza - Bank Holliday weekend:
April 29th, 30th and May 1st. This year sees the exciting addition
of the first ever Llandudno Fringe Festival, which is heavily focused on
some of the best Fringe magic you will ever see. Our featured performers
are: Pete Heat, Dave Alnwick, Luke Osey, Andrew McKinlay, Griffin &
Jones, Elliot Bibby, Cammy Gibson, Mark James and Amsterdam Magic. The
Fringe Festival is rounded out by comedians Aaron Wood and Eddie
Fortune, whilst the Extravaganza itself also features fantastic street
performances from Mario Morris, Lady Vee, Dr Diablo and Andrew Van

Mafia Awards.
On the 15th of April the Magic Mafia, an up and coming magic club in the
Scottish Highlands going from strength to strength, had its award
night. The main award and highest honour going to David Munro for Service to
Magic in the Scottish Highlands. David has done a lot of things behind the
scenes and is a major figure in the group, often interacting with other clubs and
magicians and raising awareness of quality magic in the Highlands. Recipients of
other awards where Greig Ewen for his incredible display of card handling and
James Clark, awarded The
Close-up Magician of the Year 2023.

Schoppi & Alina hand over the reins of their quick-change act to Maxim Maurice
and Jennifer Martinez. Internationally renowned German quick-change magic
duo Lex Schoppi & Alina have ended their performing Quick Change career "due to
old age". After a comeback was ruled out for health reasons, the search for a
worthy successor began. This month Lex Schoppi handed over the complete know-how
of his act to the well-known German magic duo
Maxim Maurice and Jennifer
