Number 193 - 6th March 2004

Paul Daniels opened at the Jermyn Street Theatre in London's West End on March 1st for a limited run of his one man show "The Magic of Max Malini." Max Malini did not perform in large theatres, but rather in the drawing rooms of the rich and famous in the early 1900's. His extraordinary magic worked best in intimate surroundings and here Paul Daniels has recreated many of his effects for this very unusual show. Ian Keable was in the audience on Thursday night and has reviewed the show for MagicWeek, Click Here. MagicWeek readers can take advantage of a special "two tickets for the price of one" offer by phoning the box office on 020 7287 2875 and quoting "Paul Daniels two for one internet offer" when booking their seats. Jermyn Street Theatre, 16b Jermyn Street, London SW1Y 6ST. All tickets £57 each. 6.3.04
