What's
the Asher Twist? "It's an impressive impromptu card effect with only
four regular cards. Aces turn face down and face up in the most magical
way. Follow along with cards in hand as you discover this visually
explosive technique taught by me, Lee Asher." Watch the online video
demonstration of this brilliant piece of visual close-up magic at

Being
a Colonel is simply magic! "When Mark Mason returned from a tricks
masterclass trip to the US last month, he never realised it would make him
a celebrity. But when he opened the mail yesterday, the South Shore
businessman was shocked to find out he had been given the highest honour
in one of the country's biggest states. The 40-year-old, who owns JB Magic
on Lytham Road, has been awarded the title of "Colonel of Kentucky" after
leaving one of the state governor's right-hand men spellbound. Other
personalities to have been awarded the Colonel of Kentucky include boxing
legend Muhammad Ali, Tiger Woods, and Fred Astaire," writes Nick Hyde,
reporting for the Blackpool Gazette. See

Educating
Trillo... I spent a few hours watching 'Educating Archer - The Comedy,
Mentalism and Magic of John Archer' last week. If you're looking for very
workable professional material then this 2 disc DVD set has it all. Highly
recommended (note: I'm mentally having to block out John's dodgy taste in
shirts as I write this). Visit
www.alakazam.co.uk
for a full contents listing and to order. 12.8.06 |
