ADD-ICT by Wayne Dobson. A complete sell-out at the Blackpool Convention! Here's one of the effects: "A prediction is shown inside a small leather business card holder. A deck of cards is handed to the spectator, they can shuffle them. The spectator deals cards onto the magicians out-stretched hand. No force they stop anywhere they like. The card they stop on matches the prediction exactly. The deck is shown... every card is blank." Visit www.waynedobson.co.uk for more info and to watch a video. 7.4.12

Ten Things in Two Minutes. Merlins of Wakefield have started a new weekly feature, asking magicians to reveal Ten Things in Two Minutes about themselves, things that we didn't know and that aren't connected with magic. Merlins say that they are always interested in the 'other' side of magicians; so this should be a fun project. To launch they've asked David Regal and Levent to have their say (click on their names to watch the videos). A new magician will be added every week www.merlinswakefield.com. 7.4.12

Marvin Berglas, creator of Marvin’s Magic, was the first resident magician in the Premier League and has been providing the magic element to match day hospitality at Arsenal Football Club since 1993. This is his 19th consecutive season at Arsenal where hospitality and corporate entertainment is big business. Marvin heads a team of Britain’s finest magicians to entertain at Club and Box Level. It is rather fitting that as part of Arsenal’s 125th Anniversary, coinciding with the 25th Anniversary of Marvin’s Magic, that Arsenal have chosen Marvin to be featured on their special banners surrounding the podium at the Emirates Stadium. The Club has selected only 60 past players, celebrity fans and loyal servants of the Club to honour in this way and the banner will remain up all season; Marvin’s is nearest the Thierry Henry statue. Says Marvin “As a massive Arsenal fan I was both thrilled and honoured to be recognised in this way… Arsenal is a big part of my life, having supported them all my life as well as playing in the Arsenal Ex Pro Celebrity XI for 16 seasons. In the past, I have had my face on the big screens at Times Square, featured on the sides of London Taxis and even on various cereal packs in the States but as a lifelong Gooner… this is magic!” www.marvinsmagic.com. 7.4.12

Inflated Odds by Darryl Rose: "Inflated Odds is a hilarious comedy routine in which a prediction envelope is shown. A coloured balloon is freely chosen and placed into a special balloon zapper. The spectator spins the zapper chamber and the balloon is put to the magicians ear.... it does not burst. This continues until the magician predicts that it will go off and then pointing away from the ear the magician or spectator fires the zapper and it explodes. The envelope is opened and inside not only does a prediction predict the colour of the balloon, but also when the balloon bursts. Routines for Adults, Teen & Kids, Comes complete with Balloon Zapper, Envelope & Balloons." What the professionals say: "What a fantastic idea! Inflated Odd's is one of the best Russian Roulette routines I've ever seen and it's safe." Marc Paul "Never have I seen such a perplexing prediction... Perfect!" Max Somerset. "It's gonna add a BANG to my show!" Mark Shortland. For more info and to order visit www.darrylrose.com/magic/shop/Inflated-Odds.htm. 7.4.12
