The International Magic Convention: "Were you there when... You had the chance to ask David Copperfield a question personally? When Juan Tamariz fried an entire audience of knowledgeable magicians with an amazing card trick with someone who was not even present? When, for 45 minutes, Uri Geller honestly answered some searching questions about his outlook and gave invaluable information on dealing with the media? When Derren Brown, the master of surprise, was surprised himself? All these moments happened during the presentation of The David Berglas International Magic Award for Outstanding Contribution to Magic at The International Magic Convention. The presentation is always a highlight, taking place on the Sunday afternoon with this year promising to be another very memorable moment. Who's the recipient? Well, as always, that is a closely guarded secret which adds to the excitement of the event, but you can be guaranteed that David Berglas, The International Man of Mystery, has pulled out all the stops this year.
