Magic
on the Mersey, whose slogan is 'promoting excellence in magic
performance' promises to be a very different style of magic
convention. Produced by Paul Stone and taking place at Jury's Inn Hotel

attending is guaranteed a good seat for every lecture, workshop and

wizards Armando Lucero, Mike Close and Bob Kohler and will be joined by
top British pro's Mindreading Master Marc Paul and the hilarious Mandy

show business greats, Freddie 'Parrotface' Davies and legendary juggler
Kris Kremo!

Stars of Magic & Variety' at the beautiful Victorian Epstein Theatre,

Marcus Eddie
UK lecture tour 2018 now booking. Steve Gore writes: Marcus Eddie is
planning a lecture tour in May 2018. Growing up overseas as part of an Air Force family, Marcus did not have
access to magic shops or clubs. Using a magic set he received as a gift
from his parents and the few magic books he could find in the school
library, Marcus began teaching himself the craft when he was just 12
years old. Building his illusions from toy boxes, tape and everyday
items, Marcus took his childhood passion and turned it into a career.
Today, he is a eight-time, award-winning magician, including his win on
Syfy Channel's magic competition, 'Wizard Wars'. He appeared on 'Penn &
Teller Fool Us, Headlined at The Magic Castle, and is the creator of several
products on the market and consults for magician's worldwide, including
David Blaine on his special, 'Beyond Magic'. Marcus Eddie's
original magic will leave you stunned!" For fuller information and

Jamy
Ian Swiss UK lecture tour 2018 now booking. Steve Gore writes:
Jamy is here between 21st May 2018 and 14th June 2018. This new lecture
by Jamy Ian Swiss will cover the gamut of close-up sleight-of-hand
magic. This lecture is absolutely full of amazing card magic, from
original 'card in impossible' location plots (and a fresh new handling of
the Card on Ceiling); to apparent displays of extraordinary skill that
don't demand as much as they appear; and a simple but mystifying and
commercial memorised deck routine.
Then comes the non-card magic; including an impromptu cup-and-ball
routine with an original and amazing new climax; a practical mentalism
routine that turns any peek into an engaging four-effect routine; and
coin magic that includes a lesson in pure misdirection, and an amazing
no-gaff vanish of four coins. For fuller information and dates email
tours@stevegore.co.uk.
