Alien Autopsy - The Greatest Hoax of All Time. In 1995, Spyros Melaris created an illusion of global significance. His mission was to create something so unusual, so disturbing that it would rock the world. ‘The Alien Autopsy’ was not just a hoax. It challenged belief systems. It asked, 'Do Aliens exist, and are they visiting our planet?' The film fooled NASA, Kodak and every expert who had a say in the subject, including the Queen's Pathologist. The film maintained its integrity for 15 years until Melaris and his crew revealed the truth. Melaris has prepared slides, film and inside secrets exclusively for this show. Piff & Pop's Magic Shoppe. It began with a knock on the cave, a long shadow obscuring the desert sun, and a gruff, booming, Newfoundland accent, “Hey Son, Pop's back!” Piff the Magic Dragon has spent the last few centuries trying to forget about his absent father, but now, having escaped jolly old Dragon-slaying England, conquered America and opened his own show in Las Vegas, he finds himself in the John Lennon predicament. Pop the Magic Dragon, on the other hand, is eager to make up for 342 years of abandonment and is over the moon to see how well his offspring has been doing. He's ready to settle down in Las Vegas for some Father/Son bonding time, and maybe help out on the show now and then. Sadly for Piff, he's English, and therefore unable to say no to anything. And after last night, Pop has a taste for the stage. So expect to see more from the best father/son magic dragon act in Las Vegas / the Henderson area. Now You See Me. Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Mark Ruffalo and Isla Fisher star in Louis Letterier's thriller. A year after being clandestinely brought together in New York, four conjurors - street magician J Daniel Atlas, mind-reader and hypnotist Merritt McKinney, escape artist Henley Reeves and sleight-of-hand artist Jack Wilder - are performing as The Four Horsemen in Las Vegas. Their initial show is impressive: a member of the audience is apparently instantly transported to their bank vault and invited to switch on a vacuum machine, which then showers the remainder of the audience in cash. It not only baffles the spectators, it also stumps the police when they discover that the 'robbery' was actually carried out for real. And, as the Horsemen brazenly build upon this first success with a series other inexplicable heists, FBI agent Dylan Rhodes and Interpol's Alma Dray are tasked with tracking the magicians down and finding the evidence to convict them. Director: Louis Leterrier. Magic inspired by David Copperfield. Head magic consultant: David Kwong. Magic consultants: Glen Ghirardi and Jonathan Levit. Special thanks: Chris Kenner, Homer Liwag. Saturday 30th September on Channel 4. See TV Magic. 23.9.17
