Jeff McBride MagicQuest - to May 16th. Las Vegas master magician Jeff McBride has used his time during the pandemic to create something utterly unique. McBride’s latest creation, Jeff McBride – MagicQuest uses the Zoom platform to deliver truly interactive magic and storytelling over the internet. After months of development with his team, McBride has combined his magical performance with the tale of his life-long quest to uncover the secrets of real magic. With MagicQuest, he invites audiences into his home – his House of Mystery – for a unique experience that is part show, part tour, that even includes a special VIP after party. Few performing magicians will profess to believing in "real magic", but McBride has been on a lifelong quest to discover just that. Has he found it? The answer is Jeff McBride – MagicQuest. Tracing his career, which has paralleled his quest, for over 40 years, the show is filled not only with amazing magic, but with stories of his travels, revelations, and his continuing search for the magical.

Jeff McBride – MagicQuest opened its doors to the public on Friday, May 7th at 7pm (Las Vegas time), over the Zoom platform. (preview: vimeo.com) Tickets range from $30 per screen, up to the $100 VIP ticket, which includes an after party, where guests can interact with McBride, see parts of his House of Mystery never before revealed to the general public, and even receive a special 'Treasure Chest' of rarely seen McBride video, graphics, and other mementos. E-Club Pro Select - new for May 2021. Mark Leveridge Magic write: There are two new products for May extracted from the E-Club Pro vaults and made available for limited time sale. The first is a downloadable video which explains exactly how to make and use Mark's highly versatile Utility Switch Envelope. This totally ordinary looking pay envelope, which can be shown openly all round and inside, will enable you to switch playing cards, bank notes, predication slips, coins and photos in a subtle way. Useful in so many routines, the Utility Switch Envelope is perfect for magicians and mentalists. The second item is called Straight Through. This is a very clean effect in which a coin marked with a spectator's initials penetrates a purse covering the mouth of a tumbler and visibly appears inside the glass. Watch the dem to see just how great this looks. These two products join the eight others currently in the Select range and can be found at www.markleveridge.co.uk. 8.5.21

Phoenix Watch by Collectors Workshop - Merlins of Wakefield. The Phoenix Watch is one of the Crown Jewels of the Collectors’ Workshop line. The sheer beauty and mystery associated with the transformation make it one of the most impressive visual pieces of magic available today.

The performer quips about buying an expensive watch on the internet but when he received it, he had no idea it would be a do-it-yourself project. He displays a beautiful gold pocket watch with a jangle of loose parts inside. "This is crazy. I’m not a watch maker; I’ll never be able to assemble this... but maybe, just maybe if we use a bit of Magic." The performer asks a spectator to hold the watch by the bow while covered with a polishing cloth. He begins to rub the watch as if polishing it and then he squeezes the cloth so the watch begins to push through the slit in the cloth. Just like the fabled Phoenix, the watch emerges completely restored. The performers hands are otherwise empty. The cloth is tossed aside and there is nothing left to contemplate but the magic. You receive a beautiful gold-tone open face skeletal watch, polishing cloth, gold-tone chain, that something special and complete detailed instructions. The photos do not do justice to this beautiful watch; the routine is quite magical and mind-blowing. www.merlinswakefield.co.uk. 8.5.21
