Final Call For The Commercial Close Up Refresher Event. On Tuesday 9th May 2023 at 7.30pm (BST) Mark Leveridge is presenting a special Zoom event dedicated to revealing key pointers to help close-up magicians to work successfully. Entitled The Commercial Close Up Refresher Session, the 2 hour event will be split into two halves.

Part 1 will concentrate on the techniques required to perform at mix and mingle events where the audience is possibly as mobile as the magician! Getting and keeping attention, performing while completely surrounded, breaking into closed groups of standing spectators plus much more are all explained.

Part 2 turns attention to table hopping where the performer is working at table sides in restaurants or at dinner functions. Important aspects of timing when to perform, dealing with different sized tables, how to become a valued member of a restaurant team are just some of the techniques Mark will be discussing. As well as providing expert advice, hints and tips, Mark will also perform and explain 8 routines from his own working repertoire which are designed for these working conditions. This event is equally useful for beginners to this sort of work and also for more experienced entertainers, looking to refresh their knowledge. Tickets cost just £10.00.
