New From Mark Leveridge Magic. Here are the details of the latest two routines to be added to the MLM Select range:

1. Flex The Mindreading Teddy. This is a fabulously commercial walkabout or close up show/parlour show routine in which a small teddy takes centre stage! The presentation is full of great comic moments as the stuffed toy comes ‘alive’ and appears to read two spectators’ minds in order to successfully reveal cards they have genuinely freely selected. I have used this extensively with great success, including at a number of trade shows where the teddy routine caused a lot of fun and comment. The supplied download video also contains some great advice about how to use strolling magic at trade shows and business exhibitions, thus giving you extra value.

2. Impromptu Lie Detector. This is a straightforward version of the classic Lie Detector routine that can be performed with any deck (even a borrowed one) and with no advance set up. A deck is shuffled by a spectator to put the cards into a genuinely random order, and the performer then extracts one prediction card which he leaves sight unseen in view on the table. The magician then asks a spectator three questions about the tabled card, and the helper is invited to make up his answers (since he doesn’t know at this stage what the tabled card actually is!). Whatever answers the participant gives, the performer spells the word by taking a card from the top of the deck for each letter. After the last reply has been spelled, the card finally arrived at is seen to be a matching colour and number of the prediction card. No sleight of hand required, just a regular deck and some low cunning! Each download costs just £7.00 (£3.50 for members of E-Club Pro). To order go to www.markleveridge.co.uk. 13.1.24
