TrickShop.com
are offering their email list subscribers a free Acrobat PDF file download for
The Three Card Monte. It describes the sleight of hand handling and features
Nelson Hahne illustrations. The publication is four pages and the size is just
177K - so it will download in just 40 seconds on a standard connection:
Click Here. Also, after requests from some UK customers, they have now made
three of their publications available for Instant Online Delivery through
DigiBuy, a division of major software distributor, Digital River, Inc. These
include: Extreme Magic (Street Magic), Mastering Hypnosis (Stage Hypnotism) and
Tradecraft (Cold Reading). The last two we've read, and they're both
excellent (see Reviews). The page layout on the latter two have
generous side margins, so both should output with no difficulty on an A4 ink jet
or laser printer. Details on the website:

Here's a snippet from last week's Independent which ran an
article discussing Britney Spears's refusal to sign autographs at her film
premiere in London entitled "Oops, the media circus has done it again..."
by Oliver Bennett, "Spears's case highlights another factor: that there
is a translation problem between the US and the UK. 'Stars have enormous egos
and their people pander to them over there, says Max Clifford. If the star
wants it to be Tuesday, even though it's Thursday, they'll tell them that. The
British people demand humility from stars, which is quite different. David
Copperfield [at one time a Clifford client] became a legend in his own mind, and
at that point the British didn't take to him.' True: to us he was a bizarre
haircut and an orange tan who somehow had managed to end up with Claudia
Schiffer." Oliver Bennett, The
Independent (Five years on and Max Clifford is still talking about his
encounter with Copperfield!)
