Liverpool Mahatma Magic Circle's Day of Magic & Mayhem takes place on
Sunday 22nd May at the
Crowne Plaza

Starring Jeff Hobson, Gaetan Bloom, Michael Ammar, Rocco, Eugene Burger
and Lennart Green. Registration is just £30 (including lunch!) but numbers

Then, to round-off their 90th Anniversary Celebrations, on Monday 23rd
May, they present two lectures: Lennart Green from 7pm to 8.30pm, and
after a short refreshment break, Eugene Burger from 9pm to 10.30pm.

Bath Circle of Magicians are organising three evening lectures
featuring
world famous magicians. Duane Laflin on March 24th, Michael Ammar on
June 2nd and Jay Scott Berry on
June 16th.
All take place at St Mary's Hall, Saltford, Bath and tickets will be
available on
the door at 7.50pm, for the lecture at 8pm (refreshments will be
available), at £10 each, or £20 for all

The
Magic Circle Centenary stamps will be released on Tuesday 15th March
and MagicWeek in association with the
Royal Mail has ten Presentation Packs to give away. The fully
illustrated packs feature the complete set of five stamps, together with a
fascinating look at the history of the society and some of the magicians
who have been members over the years. The text is by John Fisher MIMC, who
also originally put the special issue idea forward to the Royal Mail, and the
pack is designed by Hat-Trick design. The interactive magic stamps
were designed by Tatham Design and illustrated by George Hardie. To enter

Chris Priest and David Penn launched the new 'Bentley's Continental Flying
Spur' to the UK press at the Celtic Manor Resort this week. The

Congratulations
to Sam and Vicki Lane (illusionists Vizage) who were awarded the
British Magical Champions of Illusion title at the recent Blackpool
Convention. The couple were delighted with their win and would like to

Lee is organising a "Care & Share Balloon Jam/Workshop" at the
Qualatex Headquarters in Bishops Stortford on Wednesday 20th April (12noon
- 9pm) for the experienced balloon artiste. There is no charge for the day
and food will be provided, but participants are expected to demonstrate

The
Fellowship of Christian Magicians UK held their annual conference last
week in Hoddesdon; attended by nearly 100 magicians. The guest lecturers
were Toby Travis from the USA, supported by Marc Paul and John Allen.
Simon Williams (photo) the newly elected President also won the Stage
Magician of the Year competition and the Close-up trophy went to Mario
Morris. Next year the conference takes place from the 20th - 24th

Darryl
Rose has just returned from Dubai for CABSAT 2005, a broadcast
production show, where he was hired to attract customers to a company
showcasing the very best of British, in the UK pavilion. He also performed
his unique magic on the very top of the Burj Al Arab (world's tallest
structure), for a private party hosted by a TV personality. Darryl
couldn't resist 'Card on Window' 1000ft in the air!
