David Hawkins has been busy during the last few months entertaining at a wide variety of corporate and private events all over the country. However last Tuesday evening proved to be a real highlight when he was invited to perform for His Royal Highness Prince Turki Al-Faisal, the Saudi Arabian Ambassador, who was attending a Gala Dinner at the prestigious Mandarin Oriental hotel in Knightsbridge. The other 200 guests included Ambassadors and Ministers of State from most of the Middle East. David said "When I produced the Prince's card from my wallet and gave it to him as a souvenir, he joked that he could do the same trick. He then returned the favour by pulling out a solid gold business card case and giving me one of his personal, gold-embossed business cards." An unusual souvenir of a very memorable evening. www.david-hawkins.co.uk. 9.7.05
