Jay Adkins writes: Wayne Fox presents his lecture consisting of psychological,
thought-provoking, visual magic. Most importantly, each item is easy to do!
Wayne also talks about his '10 minute practice principle'. Featuring effects and

Gore Lecture - Northamptonshire Magicians Club, 6th May. Joy Payne writes:
Steve Gore is a truly versatile magical entertainer who regularly performs magic
of all types from close-up magic and balloon modelling at weddings and functions
to children's parties and stage illusions to comedy magic. He is also an
accomplished juggler, diablo’ist, stilt walker and unicyclist. Steve is a Past
President of the Northern Magic Circle and the Bradford Magic Circle, and a
member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians (British Ring).
He has been interested in magic most of his life and joined the Bradford Magic
Circle in 1992. Since then he has competed in magic competitions around the
country winning over twenty awards. Steve also regularly lectures on his own
magic inventions/creations at magic clubs throughout the UK, including the Magic
Circle in London and also at the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, LA,
where he has performed 21 parlour shows, 16 close up shows and 8 family shows
for US stars including Josh Brolin (Thanos/Cable), David Blaine and Sir Patrick
Stewart (Jean Luc Picard/Professor Xavier).
He & his wife, Victoria, and their children perform a stage illusion show called
Genetics, which is set in a typical home. The ordinary family with extraordinary
powers! His visit to NMC should be an interesting and entertaining evening. 6th

Oliver
Tabor's Openers & Closers Lecture - The Surrey Society of Magicians, 8th May. Oliver is a full
time stage and close-up magician, specialising in visual stage magic who
regularly performs in theatre shows and cabaret venues around the world.
He is a member of the Inner Magic Circle with Gold Star, a past
President of the I.B.M. British Ring No. 25, and an award-winner in the
stage category at the FISM European Championships of Magic. His
long-running London show, West End Magic, has been resident at the
Leicester Square Theatre for over 10 years and now regularly tours the
UK. Oliver also runs his own theatre dedicated to magic shows in an
historic 17th century Red Brick Barn in Essex for 20 years.
Openers & Closers lecture: Offering effects, routines and ideas for
close-up, mentalism, stage and parlour magic to start and finish your
show. Including quick opening card effects for close-up and parlour, a
gimmickless bottle production for parlour and stage, opening and closing
mentalism card routines, plus effects with bubbles, roses, business
cards and more. He also covers his thoughts on stage magic with an
introduction into how techniques, psychology and rules followed by stage
manipulators can easily be applied to all performance situations such as
utilising body movement and eye contact. From quick opening effects to
closing routines plus presentational ideas and advice on stagecraft, for
both close-up and stage. Lecture notes and products are on offer to
purchase afterwards.

Magician Twinpossible with Kane & Abel begins its 2025 Spring tour,
following on from a 2024 award-winning* Summer tour. The show comes to Olde
House, Newbold on March 1st in aid of RSPCA Chesterfield and North Derbyshire.
The twin brothers then head south for a three-day run at The WundaBarn at The
SpiegelGardens in Brighton as part of the Brighton Fringe Festival, May
9th-11th.
The show will also appear on P&O Arvia throughout March as Kane & Abel resume
their resident magician role onboard P&O Cruises. *Magician Twinpossible with
Kane & Abel won the Durham Fringe Festival Golden Knocker award 2024. Kane &
