Derren
Brown: Trick of the Mind - Series 2. The award-winning Derren Brown
returns with another series of Trick of the Mind on Friday April 15th. In
this series Derren takes his unique show out into the regions, where dark
stunts abound. Derren designs a zombie arcade game for a pub, equipped
with subliminal messaging, and transports a young lad to a real-life
version of the game to deal with real zombies. Psychological boundaries
are ambitiously stretched, none more so than the staring competition in
Portmerion, which Derren admits to being "the closest I've ever got to
being hit" in show 1. This series also sees celebrity appearances by
Jonathan and Jane Ross, Simon Pegg, Mo Mowlam, Iain Banks, Richard Madeley
and Alistair McGowan. Trick of the Mind 2, Friday, April 15th, Channel 4.
